Your brain plays an important role in your success at work, school, and home. But there are also some simple little tasks you can try that may just help you develop focus. Here is one for you, your staff and your employees to try:

 

Sit down and get comfortable. Relax. Make sure you are breathing rhythmically before starting the exercise. For a full minute, focus your gaze on the second hand of a watch or clock. Make sure you still your mind and let no thoughts or events distract your silent gaze. When you become aware that your attention has slipped, gently nudge your mind back into focus on the second hand. Repeat this exercise every day until you can comfortably stay focused for the entire minute.
